A framework for characterizing collaborative networks of organizations

In recent decades the exchanges between organizations have evolved with the emergence of new information technologies. Informatization has allowed fast and reliable data exchange and thus closer relationships between organizations. In this paper a new framework is proposed to characterize these collaborative networks of organizations oriented towards three axes of study including the concepts of sharing between the partners, of governance and of perspective of the collaboration. This paper explores the different types of collaborative networks that are commonly used.
